From childhood bakes to creative business
If you've found yourself reading this then we probably already have something in common, a love for beautiful and delicious cakes. Baking has always been a part of my life, some of my earliest childhood memories involve time spent in the family kitchen making all kinds of sweet treats, playing around with different flavours and decorations, and above all licking the batter spoon! Sundays were always a big family affair, and baking became my way of showing love.
Although my professional journey initially led me down the path of beauty therapy, time and time again, friends, family, and clients would request my homemade treats, encouraging me to pursue my passion further. I finally decided to take the plunge in 2020 by starting Lauren Amy Cake Design. Since then I’ve had the pleasure of working with many couples and cake lovers to make their occasion extra special, experimenting with an array of styles and designs along the way. Enough about me...
