the pRocess
Every cake I create begins long before the oven is turned on. It starts with understanding who you are, your story, and the experience you want to create. My process is intentionally designed to feel effortless, personal and quietly luxurious from the very first message to the moment your cake is delivered. With a blend of creative collaboration, clear communication and attention to detail, you’ll always know what to expect and feel supported every step of the way.
STEP1
As soon as you have decided your date and booked your venue, please get in touch to check my availability. You can do this by filling in my online contact form and I will reply as soon as possible. If I am available, I will send you a link with some follow up questions, this will help me to get an idea of the style of your wedding, your likes and dislikes, size, portions and any ideas you have and I will be able to provide you with an estimated quote. If your unsure of the style of cake you would like don't worry, you can still secure your date and we can discuss this at a later date.
If you would like to secure your date with me, you can do so with a £150 non-refundable booking fee. By paying your booking fee you are agreeing to my terms and conditions.
STEP 2
You can then taste some cake!
One of the hardest decisions of your wedding is
choosing what flavours to go for. Each box contains a delicious sample of 6 flavours which you can choose from my menu. Taster boxes are available on specific dates of the year and are £35 plus delivery.
I will then get in touch with you closer to your wedding date to arrange an online Zoom consultation, this is usually around 6 months before your wedding.
STEP 3
During the consultation we will discuss everything from your venue, preferred designs, the setup and styling of your cake and the best part your favourite flavours of cake. To help with the design process if you have any samples of stationery, styling, colour schemes etc you can have these with you on the call. If your ideas have changed throughout the planning process since your original questionnaire please email me with any new ideas and we will discuss this in the consultation.
Following your consultation a digital sketch of your cake will be sent over to you. The sketch will be based on everything we have discussed and I will provide you with a tailored quote.

STEP 4
Around 4 weeks before your wedding I will be in touch to confirm all of the details. This is also when your final balance is due. Payment can be made by bank transfer.
The week of your wedding I will confirm timings with your venue and if you are having fresh flowers on your cake I will also be in touch with your florist.
On your wedding day I will deliver and set up the cake at the time agreed. All you need to do is enjoy your special day, and a slice of cake!
